When is the best time to start learning before the wedding?
It’s best to start as early as possible. More time means less stress, calmer preparation and a more natural dance on your wedding day.
From our experience, around 3 months before the wedding is ideal. That’s usually enough time to learn and polish the choreography. If you choose a more difficult routine or know it may be more challenging for you, it’s worth starting even 6 months in advance.
The best way to practice is regularly - ideally 2-3 times a week for about 45-60 minutes. As the wedding gets closer, you can add longer sessions or an extra practice.
And if you’re starting late, don’t worry - it’s still possible. We recommend choosing choreographies from our LAST MINUTE category, which are shorter and easier to learn just a few days before the wedding.
Are the courses suitable for people with no dance experience?
Yes! These courses are specifically for couples starting from zero. We know that for many people, their first dance is simply their first time dancing as a couple. That's why we're showing you everything from the basics, step by step, so you can learn the choreography at home without stress. The platform offers various difficulty levels: from very easy "start from zero" routines to more advanced ones.
Treat the chosen choreography as your base. If any step doesn’t feel right or turns out to be too difficult, feel free to change it. And if you’d like, I’ll be happy to help - just send me an email, and I’ll suggest an easier alternative.
Do you also offer in-person lessons in Wroclaw, Poland?
Unfortunately, I don’t offer in-person classes at the moment.
Can we really learn our first dance from an online course?
Yes! Over the years, I’ve seen that an online course works really well. it’s convenient, flexible and effective, especially if you practice regularly and make use of feedback. Seeing your final dance videos, I know it really works.
You can also take a hybrid approach: learn the whole choreography online and then, if needed, book 1-2 hours with a local instructor for the final polish.
Do you create custom choreographies to a song chosen by the couple?
Unfortunately, no. We don't currently create custom choreography. Alternatively, we see many couples choosing our ready-made courses and adapting them to their song, especially when the song has a relatively consistent tempo. They most often use the Universal Moves collection.
We have also recorded a video for you on YouTube with 12 easy and universal steps and figures that you can use for any ballad.
Can I send you a video of our progress?
Yes! I offer free feedback. Send me a video of your dance and I’ll send you tips on what to improve and how to polish the choreography. Just remember to send your video in advance - depending on the number of requests, it may take up to a week to get a reply, so it’s best not to leave it until the last minute.
What do you suggest instead of lifts in the choreography?
In every tutorial, each lift comes with an easier alternative that still looks effective and fits the choreography. In addition, every course includes a video called “20 Extra Lift Alternatives” as well as a step-by-step tutorial with alternative options.
And if you’ve chosen a choreography without lifts but would like to add them, every course also includes videos with extra lifts.
What if I don’t have much space at home to practice?
The courses are set up so you can practice even in a small space at home - usually just a few square meters is enough. Closer to the wedding, if possible, it’s a good idea to do a final rehearsal at the venue, ideally in your wedding shoes and in an outfit similar to what you’ll wear on the day (for example, a long skirt or one with a petticoat and the groom in a suit jacket).
